Whoa.....sorry I missed this.
The HIPAA process doesn't work for judgments (even if they are from a medical acct). You should follow the disputing/deleting judgments guide for that.

You can talk to them.
Is this the one regarding the medical bill that wasn't submitted to insurance in a timely manner?
I would answer the phone just out of curiosity to see what they have to say.

Well, if you're not comfortable, you don't have to answer the phone. Do it all by mail and in writing. If they have something to tell you, they can respond to you by writing you a letter.
Me being me.....lol......I would answer the phone.. I kinda get a kick out of it. I'm not quite right though....

I don’t see how something couldn’t come out of this. Even if they do “verify” or whatever a hospital will do, couldn’t I then request copies of my medical records, highlight the actual service dates and send it back? Fight it that way? All of the records claim that they were opened January 2008.

I am absolutely 100% percent positive that isn’t true because the medical bills are for when I was in the hospital having my son..March 2007. So if I can show them that on the records, wouldn’t that be a violation on their part right there?
