If You've Been Sued!

I have a couple questions....

First is I recieved a letter in the mail the other day that was sent regular usps and not cmrr from a CA that was a copy of a writ of execution and the case number from the court was 2008. We called the court and they said they had nothing filed. So what do I do from here? My hubby is afraid they are going to garnish his wages.

Next question.....

We got another letter in the mail today from the court for something different and it was not cmrr and its about somebody trying to sue us. We have not been served any paperwork at all. What should we do with it?
