how long after i file bankruptcy?

when i file bankruptcy.......it is going to be chapter 7......how long will it be before i can get a car loan...........

I think it all depends. I am in a chapter 13 so I am not sure about a chap 7. I did have a friend who filed a chap 7 about 4 years ago and she had a brand new car one week after it was discharged.

Yea, it shouldn't be hard if you have a good job because you no longer have any debt. Just make sure you get a good interest rate and make sure you follow all the proper steps to repair your credit so that you can most or all of the negatives delete.

You can certainly try to speak to a lawyer first to determine what legal options may be available so that the process will be fast.
