Default my last day for the ceditors to say....

...i should or shouldnt be eligible for my bankruptcy is on friday  I dont know what exactly happens after that but Im hoping to start cleaning up my credit report. my credit was all in NJ so i am not sure if I follow NJ SOL or LA SOL rules/laws....

Im actually really nervous. I been trying to notify some of my creditors that i filed bankruptcy since im not sure if they were notified since some of them still call and some accounts were sold a few weeks after i filed back in January. I really hope this helps me get my life back on track. I never would have guessed 8 years ago that I would be filling bankruptcy :-\ How I got my 1st credit card at 17 and a half is beyond me :-\ but we live and learn and move forward. :o:thumbup::D

So I did a dispute of all my credit reports and for experian i think i got one item deleted and none of my personal info updated. equifax no items deleted all of my personal info updated and transunion all my personal info updated 7 deleted items and 3 items that said they were no longer on file.... i dont know what the "NO LONGER ON FILE" means but if it means a deleted item then I have 10 total

I'll probably do this again in a few months most of my CC's SOL are between 2011 and 2015. Im hoping to get those 2011 and 2012's removed sooner than later. I highly doubt those public records will come off before 2015.

Any advice on how to get inquiries removed? I have a lot of them

Be persistent with Equifax. They should eventually remove everything. They are the easiest to deal with in my experiences. As far as inquiries...just dispute them. You don't have to give a reason. Don't ever lie to them. Just say that you would like to dispute them.
