Default Disputing Accounts in Bankruptcy

I'm about to start working on a friends report and he filied bankruptcy in 2006 and he has alot of accounts that are over 7 years on there. now my question is..... do those accounts stay on there for up to 10 years because of the bankruptcy or can i dispute them because there out of time?

They should not be on the credit report. Only the bankruptcy itself should remain for 10 years. I would dispute all of the accounts and then on the 2nd time around, I would dispute the actually bankruptcy.
