Default How to remove bankruptcy CH.7 and included in BK accounts?

Hello Everyone.
I am new to this forum. My question is how long should I wait to remove bankruptcy Ch.7 (was discharged ) January 2008. And what would be the best way to do it? And also how to remove accounts included in BK. Thank you so much for your help.

Hi Milan. Welcome.

We have several members here with BK experience that may be able to offer you some insight.
You might want to read this for cleaning up IIB accts.........and then also read here. It is talking about how to dispute judgments but you can also try using this method for any public record.

Also be sure to read Basic Step by Step Beginner's Guide to Credit Repair

Hopefully that will give you enough info to get you started.

I have tried with all 3 bureaus and they all seem to be able to verify. (it is public record after all) I do believe there may be a way - mainly by trying to get the accounts including in the b/k deleted first and also the address where you lived at the time deleted as well. And then... try to dispute the b/k in its entirely. I'm working on the address/old acts. first. note - my b/k is almost 7 years old! So, it is difficult to do. (probably not impossible, I just haven't had much luck with it.)

Mine was discharged in 2002. I tried to dispute the bankruptcy about four years ago but it was verified. Most of my accounts included in the bankruptcy are falling off my credit reports because of the 7 year reporting time. I thought I might wait a couple of more months and try to dispute my bankruptcy again. It's interesting to read on here how people have gotten their's removed.
