Check dealerships (but stay away from the buy-here-pay-here places). I'm not sure you can unless the bankruptcy's been discharged. I went through Chapter 7 several years ago, and bought a "semi-new" car in 2006 from a fairly large dealership. Most places have resources to put almost ANYone into a car, new or used. The place I went to had more than a dozen different banks and finance companies to run through.
