Default Is bankruptcy the best deal for me?

Ok..I'm 23 and sadly, in a lot of financial trouble. I had some major health issues a while back and lost my job...had to start putting everything on credit. So I'm in the hole nearly 11,000, not including medical bills or my car. I've tried dealing with a debt consolidation place, but with how much I owe and everything that is back-logged that I need to pay NOW, there is no way I feel I can ever catch up...I've been looking at bankruptcy, just to wipe it out. I figure and have been told my credit is so screwed already and that I'm still young, it won't be too bad. Any advice? And generally, how much would a bankruptcy cost, lawyer fees and all? Serious answers and hopefully some with experience please. Thanks so much!

Well of course, you know your situation better than anyone does. If you feel confident that bankruptcy is the way to go, then Yes, you should go for it... Well the cost is always depends on the lawyer, like where you live etc... Of course, you have to call around and see how much they charge for a service like that.. Good Luck..

Being bankrupt have sereval liabilities, and places restriction on your freedom.First, try to see whether did you buy any insurance plans before that can offer any financial assistance. If yes, it would help greatly.Second, try to get rid of the unneccesary stuff, like car. Use public transport.Third, the official assignee would still require you to cough* out the money owned to a certain extent.Fourth, try to get another job in the meantime.Good luck.
