Default Iknow filing bankruptcy won't get rid of federal

student loans what about private ones? serious answers only

A little known change in the law a few years ago means even private student loans cannot be discharged in bankruptcy. The only exception is if you qualify for a hardship, which is very difficult and extremely rare.
