 Cheapest Lawyer when filing bankruptcy?
Me and my husdband are going to file bankruptcy together. We are trying to find the cheapest lawyer to go to. anybody out there know of any?

*****I can only answer this for chapter 13******Usually watever lawyer you go to willn only charge youb a downpayment. Their fee comes out of the payments ou make for the next three to five years ( if you are filing ch13) therefore there is no need to worry. Make sure they are board certified. BK is nt as bad as people think. I filed(ch13) almost 4 years ago,I was discharged in March and my credit scores areabove 650 and I have gotten all kinds of credit. Rebuilding starts the miniute after you file, even if its what you alread owe but are not putting in BK. The key is to leanr to manage your money and credit. Get our advice from professionals...not people who think they know.
