 how long does it take from when you see a lawyer for
chapter 13 til you actually go to court for it? so, you go to the lawyer and pay the retainer...how long is it about before you actually get a court date to be "approved/accepted" and then how long before you make your first payment to the courts? any clue...would be helpful...thanks....

I filed for Chapter 7, and before I could even get a court date I had to pay the court costs. In Illinois at the time it was something like $300. Then you will get a court date, sometime within a month or month and a half.
