Default Confusing REPO!

Lost our car in Nov of 09. Never heard back from the finance company about an auction or what the car was sold for. Fast Forward... Went to have get a mortgage adn they said the car is not showing as REPO'd it is just showing up as not past due or anything... but its on there as revloving credit. I pull my own credit report and I see it on there under experian as Past Due 10K with a payment status of past due over 180 days. Under Equifax it shows past due 2K and repo'd. Transunion reports nothing on it. I am wondering if I should just leave it alone for now... because the banks are not showing it as repo'd or past due on the reports they are pulling. If it does come up as a negative on the banks reports I will not be able to buy the house we are looking at. Can it show up later or? Should I just leave it alone? Should I try to disputeit all together?

If you can qualify for the home loan right now, I wouldn't rock the boat. IF it hasn't changed I don't it will on its own unless you start disputing the item. Disputing probably isn't what you want to do any way, you would just ask for an item verification. I wouldn't touch it if I were you.
