Went to get a car and ended up losing credit

Hey all,

So I went to a dealership and was told I was approved for a car. Drove away happy then got a call that the bank had declined my app and I had to return the car. Two weeks later I log into Equifax credit services and noticed my credit report was inquired about 7 times by lending banks and my score went down with Equifax 4 points I've been working really hard to get it up just so I can get a decent car... Is there someway I can dispute this?

Credit inquiries be disputed, but if they were all at the same time looking for one car loan, you must get them all removed for it to help, because they all account at 1 inquiry.

I would concentrate more on other aspects of your credit that count a lot more towards your score. Do you have any negatives reporting on any of your reports? What is your credit limit to debt ratio?
