Better to buy a cheap used reliable car. You are just throwing money away that way. Not a very good investment.

Suze Orman says leasing a car is a bad idea. How long do you want to keep the car? Can you afford to buy it?

Leasing is probably best for people with no commitment. It is a bit expensive compared to buying a car, but leasing gives you the freedom to switch off cars after a few years. Buying a car is more of a commitment deal. You usually stick with a car you buy for more years. There's pros and cons for both. Which is best depends on what you want to do.

Leasing is a ripoff. For the total cost, you can buy a decent, late model car, and keep it, or sell it when you get tired of it, and be money ahead.

It depends on many factors like:1. How much is the use2. Cost of the car3. Leasing cost4. Your paying capacity5. Depreciation in the car valueEvaluate each factor thoroughly and you would be able to arrive at a correct decision.

Hi, If you are going to use it only for a short time IE 2 to 4 weeks then lease it but if it is going to be over a couple of months or more you are better of buying a hundred dollar car or there abouts, but if its for a long term then either go finance, or purchase one outright .P.S. always remember to get insurance as f you have an accident then you are covered (no insurance and you could be paying for years to come)RegardsDavoWestern Austrlia

its better to buy always... u know why?? because no one can repo it, no one can say u ever owe on it, and when it goes bad, the engine, the transmission, the brakes, anything, goes bad u can blame no one but yourself.. buy your car so you can learn the responsibilty of taking care of your car and making it last as long as you want to get around.
