Default my son is no longer paying on his

automobile loan which is under my name, what can I do about this?

If you can not reason with him and get him to accept his responsibilities I would "reposses" it from him and probably sell it. You can't force him to make the payments, even legally since the loan is in your name. As parents, I know we always want to help our kids any way we can, but they have to do their share too.I would give him some warning, perhaps a month or two, and then tell him you are taking the car.Good luck.

bad thing they will be comming by to get it if you dont pay and you will be the one that has your credit hit. so pay for it yourself or sell it. if you cant i woulde contact bank and tell them what is going on like your selling it etc, they will work with you. or contact them and ask where to take it. rating is better on you if you take it and turn it in rather then them comming to get it. but call bank they will work with you

Repossess the car and resell it to pay for it. This will teach him responsibility. For every action there is a consequence.
