Default Can i get an auto loan directly from my...

...bank? Or do i have to through the dealer? if so could i take it out a little bigger as to have some work done to the car with the same loan?

Some banks offer auto loans at competitive interest rates. Check with the local branch of the bank in which you have your savings and/or checking account.As for getting a loan for a larger amount than the car's value, I don't think that's possible (either from a bank or dealer) since the loan is guaranteed by the vehicle's value IN STOCK CONDITION!
