Default If i finance a car does the insurance need to be in my name?

Yes as long as it's full coverage which most lenders request.

You can do what you want, but if you ever make a claim on this insurance, THEY DON'T HAVE TO PAY.........Insurance fraud is a felony.............Nuf Said

No, cause if the bank finds out the car is not in your possession they will send someone to repo it,you could always put both your names on the insurance...

depends on the state and such. He might be able to just list you as a driver of the car. You very well could be liable if he were to get in an accident and the other party wanted to sue you for damages since the car would be in your name.
