You may also want to recommend these are sent certified signature required. The data in the dispute letters allow a person with identity theft in mind to go to town.

Certified signature required allows you to know it reached it's destination. If their is a problem it allows you to better track the problem.

Also, regarding including a copy of the Social Security card; I was able to dispute items without that, I was only required to include the last four of my social security number. Things may have changed in 3 years, but I would recommend that people without their entire SS# until it is requested and only then when you know for sure who you are talking to. :D
