Hi, I'm new to the site and need some helpful advice. I recently recieved a letter from a collection agency responding to my request to validate a medical bill. I received the validation response yesterday and the information sent to me by the collection agency includes personal information, diagnosis, and treatment procedures. Did the hospital violate HIPPA laws and my privacy by providing them with my medical diagnosis, and treatment procedure involved?
