Remember when we were kids and we did things that bugged our parents? And we even went further just to see how much we could get away with just to see how far we could go?
Well, I had a guy once that came to me for help and he had nearly 30 delinquicies and he disputed every single one in the first round of disputes. Every last one of them came back verified. Sounds fishy doesn't it?
Well he thought so too, so....he sent them all again for a 2nd time. The CRAs response was: already verified. Now he's upset.
Long story short..what the CRAs pretty much did was say "Man this guy is sending us a bunch of bogus disputes and we aren't wasting our time with him. He just wants to see how much he can get away with."
This is totally non-compliant with FCRA regulations but they treated him as if he would be ignorant enough to accept their response. I'm glad he didn't.
When I dispute items, I just stick to 3 at a time. That's just me.
