I have been doing credit repair for quite some time now and I'm glad you posted your concerns here.
Is he charging $50 per item per credit bureau? Thats ALOT! I used to charge a flat $300 for individuals and $500 for couples and I worked on their credit reports for a period of 6 months. I've deleted everything from inquiries to bankruptcies but no matter what I deleted or how much I deleted, you only paid one price.
As for the originals, it is needed in order to dispute with the credit bureau's and avoid red flags. You have the right to dispute your own credit so you have to remember, he is disputing on your behalf. In other words, he is sending in your disputes as if he is you - that's why the originals are needed. There is nothing wrong with that. It's as he says - that's how it works (he just didn't explain it in full details like I just did).
