It's time to play hardball.I would send them a letter that they must cease and desist reporting this until it can be proven that this was
not ever resolved years ago.Also state your intentions to seek legal advice to file a federal law suit.Then state that you will accept a complete deletion in lieu of damages for wrongful reporting of this paid account.
