This item was last reported on 4/2009. I'm not sure where this item came from and when. I'm not sure who the Original creditor was, and the account # (credit report omits the last few #s) Who should I contact, the 3 credit bureaus or the coll. agency (NCO Fin/27)?
This is going to be the first item that I will dispute since its just so tiny and pathetic. Should I just rather PFD it and get it over with, or try to see if its a mistake on my CR? What should my first steps be?
Thanks in advance and sorry for such a newb question. |
You should dispute the items in writing with the CRAs. It may take a few disputes. Don't contact NCO, especially not by phone. That is a huge mistake. Do a PFD as your last resort.
