You don't ever need to give a reason for disputing anything. There's just no need to. Also, there is never any reason to lie to them. Word your disputes wisely and you will never have to. Less is more.
Always remember that the burden of proof, according to the FCRA, is on the CRAs. THEY have to prove to YOU that the information they are reporting is accurate. You don't have to prove anything to them.
