The child support issue might be a little complicated. It depends on your state.
In some states, I know, it will stay on your reports for 10 years
after it's paid off.
Other states, it should be removed once it's PIF.
It should, at least, be reported as closed with a zero balance....
Gonna look a little more into this since I don't have much experience with it........not sure which laws apply but I will see if I can find out.
How have you disputed this in the past? By mail, online....or by phone? Also.....I'm not really sure how it lowered your score when there was no change.......that is confusing.
You can try disputing judgments
this way.......usually the CRAs say it's being reported by the courts and it's not. So you may be able to get them off that way (this also works for other types of public records too).
On the last thing.......where are you seeing history of 0 years? If they are reporting accts from 1999 I don't see how it can say that. :confused:
