I think you have done the right thing by writing the CEO. I would give it about a month and see if you get a response. Did you send it CMRR by chance?......so that you know who receives it?
Might want to wait on the non pp letter and see if you hear from the CEO first.
Another thing to try if your letter doesn't work is Planet Feedback.
