That's what I have a problem with too. That's what the guide to disputing judgments will hopefully stop and get the public record deleted.
The CRA is basically lying by saying that a tax lien or judgment is being reported by the courts........when it IS NOT. They are getting the information from somewhere else...........but it doesn't say on your CR - info rec'd from Lexis Nexis......or the pacer system. So I think it's BS. And when we send the CRA a
PR letter........they usually come back with a BS answer.
Nitro, you shouldn't have any problem getting it deleted. After you get the "BS" answer from the CRA, then send them a copy of that letter that you got from the county clerk and then tell them they need to delete it immediately.
