I had sent a letter to a medical provider explaining situation and asking removal from our credit reports since we have been making timely payments, etc and not sure how or why one account got to collections and/or credit report.

What I got back was a letter from their law firm! We have received your correspondence and have researched your account with our client. Enclosed is the documentation our client has provided on the above referenced account.

(Then a stack of papers with what was paid by insurance, etc, etc. I know all of this! )

Please call.... and the law office name.

WHAT? C'MON??!!

Does the medical office not have a clue??? Let's forward to an attorney right away because I'm simply explaining a situation, asking for some courtesy and remain a current and paying customer????

I'm a bit ticked off at this one and haven't a clue what to do next, this is getting ridiculous.
