It makes me wonder if the OC has mis applied a payment. I have everything being paid by my bank every month automatically. I rarely write a check at all. Thanks in advance,

Just like I told Flypilot in my previous post....you always want to optout and correct/update all personal info first. They (the CRAs) will cross check different references with the OC/CA electronically. If they can verify at least 4 areas regarding that TL you are disputing (name, ss#, address, etc.)
then they call it good and verified. Removing any addresses, phone numbers, employment history, name variations, ect. will give them one (or more) less thing to verify with the companies. Does that make sense?
So YES, it makes a difference if you have tons of extra personal info on there. It makes it more difficult for YOU to get a delete.
For authorized user accts. If they are damaging your credit, then by all means, dispute them off. They are some of the easiest things to get removed because by law, you have NO financial obligation to those accts.
If you know you weren't late, then talk to the company reporting first. If you have proof that you paid on time.......even better.
I would not dispute everything at once. You can dispute ALL of your personal info at once........but other than that, keep it down to no more than 4 items per dispute at a time.
