Did you send a letter to the courthouse yet? If the CRA is telling you to go to the furnisher of information.......write the courthouse and include a self addressed stamped envelope. Tell them you were told to contact them and that you needed to see what their procedures are for verifying information with the CRAs.
More than likely, they will write you back stating they DO NOT verify information with the CRAs (because they don't). Then you take a copy of that letter and redispute with the CRA.......demanding them to delete it.
