I have asked for them to verify it as you stated in your reply, and I'm assuming you meant to verify the listing in general, etc ... but while I have tried this, and actually sent in the dispute for verification a couple times, it just keeps coming back "verified".
What would I do next? Given they say verified, can I then move to the "method of verification?" ... is there any other way of catching them in a lie or failing to actually do a 'verification'. Write a letter to the courthouse asking them to verify it. More than likely, they will tell you they only can in person. Make a copy of that letter and send it to the CRAs and let them know that you know they can't verify it unless it's in person, so demand method of verification or deletion.
