Another thing you might want to do is get an acct with Crown Jewelers. If you have a verifiable job and phone #, you are guaranteed an approval.
You have to buy something before they will report but what I did is bought an inexpensive pair of earrings and then made small payments each month on it. They usually give a $1500 credit limit which is probably higher than any other cards you can get right now if you are in the 500's. That should help boost your score a little..........and they do report to all 3 CRAs.
