*deep breath* (long story)
I had a car repo'd back in 2003 by Ford Motor Credit. This happened in TX.
They did what is, by law standards, an illegal repo. They came and picked it up and I never heard another word from them. No notices, no deficiency balance owed, no notice of sale.......nada.

Moved to WA and about 1 year later, got summons from CA.
Long story short - I fought and lost. We got sued for about 7K and now have a judgment.

I have disputed this acct (CO from FMC) until I am blue in the face. I've disputed everything from ownership (not mine) to balance (which they ever so nicely INCREASED), to DOFD........to date of repo......you get the picture.

It is scheduled to stay on my CRs until 2011. UGH.
I have tried contacting Ford but they won't deal with me because it was "taken over" by the jackrods that sued me.

My only other thought is to contact Ford's CEO with a letter (or email if I can find it). If I did this, though, I'm just not sure which way to approach it.
Nice and begging? Firm with laws to back me up? Agressive with overtones of an ITS?

Or if ANYONE else has ANY ideas.......I'm all ears!
I know if I can get this one off that it will make quite a positive impact on my score.

TIA,
Trish
Try a sweet letter to ford's ceo to start let him know what a jackass the repo guy was and the ca doubled the price you owed and you was sued and lost. And your sure that you don't want ford's good name to be linked to these jerks. You might try a goolgle search for the ceo.I hope this helps.
