Well, yes, but it doesn't work every time. Nothing works every time, so don't be mad at me if it doesn't come off.

The CRAs are very inconsistent. I've had about a 90% success rate with most clients, including myself.
Here is what a typical letter that I use looks like:
Dear Credit Bureau,
Your company has made several errors on my credit report and I ask for your immediate assistance in correcting these errors.
Please provide documentation that the following accounts belong on my credit report and that my rights have not been abrogated. Otherwise please delete this damaging data immediately.
Foreclosure - Indiana Federal Court-So Docket# 5781234
