United Recovery
United Recovery Killing Your Credit Scores?
United Recovery collections can remain on your credit report for 7 years from the original delinquency date. Even if you pay the collection it's still considered a negative account and will be marked as a "paid collection" for 7 years.
How I Got Bad Credit
A few years ago, I went through some tough times in my life. I lost my job after the company I worked for went under. The bills piled up and I was unable to make my monthly payments. Eventually, all of my credit card accounts were charged-off and sent to collection agencies.
My life became a nightmare of collection calls and endless harassment from debt collectors like United Recovery. Eventually, I filed bankruptcy and was relieved of my debt, but the damage to my credit was already done.
What I Did About It
For years I was denied the chance to own a home, get a new car, or even take a vacation – all because my credit scores were too low for the banks to even consider giving me a loan. Getting turned down for loans over and over was frustrating and embarrassing.
A friend told me about Lexington Law Firm and was ranting and raving about how awesome they were. I was skeptical at first, but after seeing what they did for him, I knew I had to give them a try. So, I got online and looked them up.
Lexington Law Changed My Life
I called the 1-800 number at the site (800-220-0084) and spoke to a credit expert who was very friendly and understanding of my situation. She was also very knowledgeable. So, I went ahead and signed up. Boy, am I glad I Did! After about 3 weeks, I started receiving letters from the credit bureaus stating that negative accounts had been removed from my credit reports! (See below.)
Collections Removed from My Credit Report:

NOTE: I Didn't have any collections from United Recovery reporting on my credit report, but as you can see, any collection accounts from any collection agency can be removed.
My credit scores have drastically improved since there are no longer any negative accounts on my credit report. Here's a snap shot my credit scores from MyFICO since I signed up with Lexington Law:
